Reflecing On the Week that Has Been

An extremely tough week for a friend whose husband is said to be terminal, a family member diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer, and I get some 'bad' news and end up sick in bed with tonsilitis. Puts things into perspective, doesn't it! Perspective and attitude are what make the 'strong' stronger and the 'weak' weaker. Praise God for His grace for when we are weak, He is strong, and He not only wants us to rely on Him, He commands it. My challenges are nothing compared to that of my friend or my cousin, and yet I still rely on Him to get up every morning and tackle the day with a thankful heart and not one of defeat. It is through these challenges that God reveals His strength and love for His people, and His people reveal His love for one another. So, no matter what your challenge today, big or small, cast your care on Him, give it to God, who is well able to meet all of our needs.
